For twenty years, I served the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education as President of California University of Pennsylvania. In that time, Cal U experienced challenges and triumphs. The campus grew and evolved, and the student body flourished.
I am honored to have been a part of that process, and I reflect fondly on the time I spent at Cal U and the people that took that journey with me. While I was President, I saw that the State System of Higher Education as a whole was facing challenges similar to the ones faced by Cal U, except on a larger scale, and educating and advocating for positive change statewide became one of my greatest passions.
Now that my journey at Cal U has come to an end, I turn my attention entirely to the challenges faced by the State System of Higher Education in Pennsylvania, and it is my hope that my analysis and perspective on the future of this important organization stimulates conversation, collaboration, and change that preserves the System's mission and serves students. This blog is a major part of that effort.
Thank you for reading.
Sincerely,

Good luck Angelo! I like the blog and feel that there is a need for a discussion on the future of higher education in Pennsylvania as a whole. Hopefully this will become the starting point.
